||Brian Louis Tolka, 37, of Morgantown was promoted to his Heavenly home with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Brian was born on January 24, 1976 in Morgantown to Louis Tolka, Jr. & Linda Eddy Tolka of Core.
Brian spent his life being devoted to the needs of others as a previous volunteer firefighter for both Granville and Cassville. Most recently he was Lieutenant for the City of Morgantown Fire Department and was also Captain of the Diving Rescue Team. His compassion for others didnít stop there; he was also a Counselor at Chestnut Ridge Hospital. His care and desire to meet the needs of others was certainly honorable and will be missed greatly. When Brian wasnít working, he loved scuba diving and spending time with his loving family.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his sister, Cindy Berthy and her husband, Jon of North Carolina; his two nieces Holly and Heidi Berthy; and his paternal grandmother, Anna Tolka of Morgantown; and a host of extended family and friends.
Brian was met at Heavenís gate by his paternal grandfather, Louis Tolka, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Roy & Miriam Eddy.

Friends may call at Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church, 540 Fairmont Rd, Westover, on Friday, November 29, from 1-8 pm and on Saturday from 12 until the 1pm funeral service with Pastor John Jackson officiating. Brian will be carried to his final resting place at Beverly Hills Cemetery atop the fire truck he and two others designed for the Morgantown Fire Department.
